Kasun Tharaka Wickramasuriya is a Senior Manager of Capacity Building for the Information and Communication Technology Agency of Sri Lanka (ICTA), and Co-Founder of the Lanka School on Internet Governance (LKSIG), which is the local representative of the Asia Pacific School on Internet Governance (APSIG) and was established to build capacity on Internet Governance among the Sri Lankan and Asia Pacific IG practitioners.
He is also the former Secretary of the Internet Society Sri Lanka Chapter (ISOC-LK) (2018/2019 and 2019/2020) and has represented the ISOC–LK executive committee from 2013 to 2022. He is a highly competent ICT Professional, Transformation Strategist, and Community Development Expert with extensive experience in the ICT and Internet Governance sector. He has over 14 years of experience in the corporate, public, and development sectors. He is also an experienced mentor with competencies in ICT capacity building, digital transformation, digital inclusion, digital economy, digital education, change management, community informatics, and Internet governance.
He is a member of CSSL, IMSL, HISSL, ISOC and Sakura Science Club Japan.
